At Mining Indaba 2026, Ingrid Osborne, CEO of HSEC Online®, addressed a growing tension in mining operations: the widening gap between documented compliance and what is actually happening on site.

In high-risk environments, safety cannot rely on static approvals or once-off verification. It depends on continuous visibility, live competency control and the ability to demonstrate what was true at the moment risk emerged.
